Vocational training as technical product designer

The training to become a technical product designer is a recognised training profession according to the Vocational Training Act. It lasts for three years and takes place mainly in the training establishment and in the vocational school.

Your professional profile as Technical Product Designer

During your three-year apprenticeship at KWM Weisshaar, you will be introduced to various aspects of product design. This includes the organisational structure as well as the various internal regulations and regulations of our company.

You will learn the safe use of technical drawing and construction programs to create 3D models and technical drawings.

You will also learn the basics of materials science, manufacturing techniques and product development. The training also includes the production of prototypes and participation in interdisciplinary teams.
