Our welding section is staffed by some sixty, highly qualified employees, who with the support of experienced welding engineers, cover all forms of the technique from conventional, through laser, to robotic welding processes.

KWM WEISSHAAR is qualified via DIN EN 15085-2, Class CL1 / DIN EN ISO 3834-2 for the welding of rail vehicles together with the qualifications for welding of steel constructions (EN 1090-2) and for welding of aluminium constructions (EN 1090-3). Further KWM WEISSHAAR is qualified for welding and aluminium and the repair of aluminium constructions for defence equipment (DIN 2303).

At this time, accent is given on the laser welding of aluminium parts.
